THE CAUSES OF FOREST FIRES



Fires are once again raging through California and countries like Greece and Turkey are waiting with trepidation for start of the forest fire season. Only a couple of years ago a devastating fire in the south of Turkey laid hundreds of acres of pine forest to waste. What are the causes of these devastating fires and what makes them spread so rapidly?
