THE SCIENCE OF PERSUASION

We are continually confronted with a wide variety of choices in our lives and need to make decisions. Knowing this, many will try to persuade us that a certain choice is the best and most reasonable. Yet how do they do it? Do some research and write about the science and art of persuasion. In this activity, there is no reading material; there are only podcasts accompanied by presentations or podcasts accompanied by animations. Listen, watch and make notes. If you wish, you can also read the text, The Science of Persuasion, out of The Scientific American, which is presented at The School of Foreign Languages, Boğaziçi University (YADYOK) as reading material though this is not a must by any means.
