TELL THE STORY OF THE FAMOUS MARCH IN SELMA


You may not know the details of the famous civil rights movement that took place at Selma about 50 years ago. The reason for the march was voting rights but what exactly happened and why? Why is the event so well known that an Oscar nominated film was made about it? Why is it being commemorated with speeches and ceremonies? Do your research and tell the story.
