What is plagiarism?
Plagiarism, or stealing other people’s ideas and statements, is considered the 8th deadly sin in academic circles where it is penalized when revealed. No self respecting academic worth his salt would ever consider stooping so low as to just copy others' work but students may need to be enlightened as to where quoting stops and plagiarism begins.
